I have to give the man his proper credit. He listened to his constituents and voted the way they asked him to vote. Civil war? I think that’s a little strong, but I’m proud to say that Marion Barry voted the right way this time. The African-American community like many white communities in the south, are rooted in family, faith and friendship. The traditional family is simple: One man, one woman for life.
There’s not much I agree with Mr. Barry on. I’ll grant that. However, I have to be a man and say he did the right thing. Nice job Mr. Barry.
