It's official. Former Virginia Governor Jim Gilmore is
withdrawing his candidacy for the GOP nomination in 2008. Strictly speaking, I was wondering when the paring would begin. There are several candidates who are probably on the chopping block. I wish Mr. Gilmore the best as he will probably run for Governor again or perhaps for John Warner's seat should Mr. Warner decide to retire.
